The Pregnancy Experts are an ultrasound clinic specialising in all aspects of pregnancy care. The clinic is led by couple Martin Maher MBChB (Hons) MRCOG a consultant obstetrician with over 18 years of medical experience, and Jennie Todd, an experienced midwife trained in fetal ultrasound.
Martin is a well respected figure in the maternity field being the Clinical Director for obstetrics and gynaecology at a local NHS Trust and the Clinical Lead for the Lancashire & South Cumbria region. He is also the lead consultant for Fetal Medicine and the ultrasound training lead for the North West School of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Jennie is a senior midwife sonographer based at a local NHS Trust where she coordinates and provides care to women with complex pregnancies. She regularly undertakes ultrasound lists, working closely with the Fetal Medicine Unit.
At our clinics, we specialise in providing evidence based quality antenatal care and scan services. CONSULTANT LED PACKAGE
At the Pregnancy Experts we understand that some pregnancies are particularly complex or parents need extra reassurance. Therefore we offer a consultant led package of scans in the antenatal period.
This is ideal if your pregnancy is of higher risk, you have medical needs, you have a multiple pregnancy or you simply prefer the reassurance of Consultant input and extra scans.
All scans are performed by Mr Martin Maher a Consultant Obstetrician specialising in high risk obstetrics and fetal medicine. As the lead for fetal medicine at East Lancashire Hospitals there is the reassurance and an easy pathway if you require access to additional NHS tests and monitoring.
Every appointment includes a Consultant scan and antenatal check.
