Melissa Singh is a highly experienced nurse sonographer, bringing extensive NHS expertise in early pregnancy and gynaecology assessment. Known for her calm, compassionate approach, Melissa provides detailed diagnostic scans with clear, supportive explanations—helping patients feel reassured and understood. Melissa is an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist Sonographer with NHS service since 2005. Trained in Glasgow, she began her career in gynaecology and quickly found her passion in early pregnancy care—supporting women through some of the most anxious and emotional moments of their lives.

In 2010, Melissa gained her ultrasound qualification in gynaecology and early pregnancy at the University of Salford, becoming one of the first nurses in her local NHS Trust to achieve this. She progressed into advanced specialist roles and is now the Service Manager for Early Pregnancy Services at a local NHS Trust, where she has led pathway development and ongoing service improvement.

Alongside her clinical work, Melissa provides ultrasound training to nurses and student sonographers, helping build excellence and confidence across the workforce. With experience spanning early pregnancy, gynaecology assessment, fertility services, surgical gynaecology, and outpatient care, she brings a holistic approach—always focused on listening, explaining clearly, and offering compassionate, unhurried care.
