Service Description

Most coils settle without issue, but it’s completely normal to want reassurance — especially after insertion, if you can’t feel the strings, or if you’ve developed new symptoms. A coil check scan can confirm whether the device is correctly positioned and help guide next steps if anything looks out of place. This scan is particularly helpful for peace of mind when you’ve had discomfort, changes in bleeding, or you’re worried your coil may have moved.

Cancellation Policy

The Pregnancy Experts does not guarantee continued treatment with a named midwife or doctor, unless this has been specifically purchased as part of your package. If you are unable to attend your appointment, we require 24 hours’ notice. We will try our best to facilitate an alternative mutually convenient time. Failure to give the required notice will result in you being charged the full cost of the service. Please arrive for your appointment 5 minutes in advance so that the necessary paperwork can be completed. Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiting of the appointment. The Pregnancy Experts will endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs to time; however, should we need to cancel or postpone your appointment at short notice, we will make every effort to contact you in advance. Prior to your appointment we will inform you of any preparation required in advance of your treatment. Failure to follow the guidelines may result in cancellation of your appointment, reduced treatment time, or additional fees being charged.

The scan room is located on the 1st floor. Therefore, unfortunately, we cannot offer ultrasound assessments to those with significant mobility problems.
